It's great to help sustain the earth around you but what help is it if we do it with emptiness? It is great fill your body with goodness, but what good is it if the soul our bodies are housing is neglected? Would you buy an organic, non-sprayed, local apple if you knew it's core was rotten? You must first sustain your soul~ whatever that looks like to you. Everything else will easily follow.
